Top 10 World’s Most Scary Cemeteries

World’s Ten Most Scary Cemeteries that house Lord Voldemort, ghost of Poe, Poltergeists and Ghastly ghosts of dogs.

The below lists Ten most haunted cemeteries of all time that houses Poltergeists, white-roaming ladies, ladies requesting lift on the road, dog-ghosts, Family of ghosts, Edgar Allan Poe’s ghosts and ghosts spotted when sneaking out to meet their mistresses.

1)Greyfriars Kirkyard

2)  St. Louis Cemetery, United States.

This was built on an older cemetery after the former was burnt in the 1700s. With a population of One Lakh graves, this cemetery is bound to have some friction and scratches from the inhabitants. a large number of voodoo followers visit the infamous grave of Marie Laveu, the voodoo princess and sketch three crosses on the grave to be granted a wish by the princess.

3) Western Burial Ground, Baltimore,Maryland.

This cemetery homes the infamous advocate of ghostly activities which were almost believed to be real is Edgar Allan Poe. With this celebrity addition, the legend also recalls a headless ghost of Cambridge that was put to mute after persistent screaming in a cube of concrete. The myth also says that the lucky few can hear the screams on a visit and will never get the throbbing shrill out of their heads.

4) Stull Cemetery, Kansas.

This is famous as the devil’s own home as the rumors say that visitors who knock repeatedly on the rocks situated on the rubble heap, answer is provided by the Devil himself. History says that it was built on the house that fell down to rocks on a certain Good Friday. Altogether, it aptly signifies as the Devil’s home that bible rightly quotes the escape of which was witnessed on the Holy Original Good Friday. Better keep off these grounds at least on the Fridays.

5) Howard Street Cemetery, Salem, Massachusetts

World has read too much on the Salem witches and their revenge-avenge acts, which also brings a famous ghost Corey into action who was subject to die under the weight of stones in this very cemetery after being suffocated for two days. The neighborhood claims that Corey appears at times of town’s tragedies. Well, something to sneer for Corey was the great fire of 1914 when he was spotted in clarity.

6) Bachelor’s Grove Cemetery, Chicagoland

This is home to not just one or two tortured and incinerated-alive ghosts, but houses entire family of ghosts been spotted and described by different people in the matching and exact description.

7) Resurrection Cemetery, Chicago.

The melodramatic film stories that base their ghost scenes with pretty girl in the night walking alone on road and signalling for a lift has its origin here, where such activities are witnessed almost every night by the ghost of Anna Norkus , more famous as resurrection Mary who died in a car accident on the same road when en route to her home.

8) Union Cemetery, Easton

This houses another TV figure ghost like Resurrection Mary, the ghost in white who roams around getting hit by passer-by. The graveyard is also nicknamed White Lady owing to this pretty lady in white. The myths also states people witnessing glaring red eyes from bushes of the cemetery.

9) Highgate Cemetery, North London, England

This cemetery houses solid headless-statues, creepy and moss covered steps and maze-like buildings inside. The infamous inhabitants include Karl Max and Henry Gray, author of Grey’s anatomy. Now that description itself I’m sure can erect your hairs to a minimum stretchable height. There are also a number of war graves of which a lot og ghosts are cited carrying arms,ammunition and canes.
